Mishae J. Rice

Mishae J. Rice is a wife, minister, certified professional life coach, public speaker, and creator/host of The Bought Lesson podcast. Since childhood, she has had a heart to help, encourage, and advocate for vulnerable and disadvantaged people groups. This led her to earn a Bachelor's degree in Communication Studies and Sociology from the University of Detroit Mercy and build a career in client relations and human services. She also completed some graduate studies in Marriage and Family Therapy at Capella University.

Her heart to see people thrive, especially in marriage and family, has solidified Mishae’s purpose and ministry as a speaker, resilience and relationship coach, and now, author. She uses her voice in a transparent and relatable way, empowering people, especially women, to endure in faith and love, even when life seems hopeless.

Mishae is a Michigan native who serves faithfully at Faith Citadel Covenant Church in Detroit, MI, under the leadership of Pastor Harvey Carey. She also enjoys dancing, traveling, family games, and really anything fun! She is grateful to use her story, gifts, skills, and interests to serve God and people.
